SLEEP-SOOTHING REISHI TRUFFLES

Ingredients

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat your choice of milk over medium-low heat until simmering.
  2. Remove from heat and transfer to a medium bowl, whisking in reishi powder, and an optional pinch of sea salt.
  3. Add in chocolate and orange zest.
  4. Stir until the chocolate has melted, then refrigerate until slightly firm, for about an hour.
  5. Combine hemp seeds, cocoa powder, and an optional pinch of salt in a shallow dish with a tight lid.
  6. Scoop 1 tablespoon of the refrigerated mixture at a time into a truffle form, dropping it into the cocoa combination and shaking gently to coat.
  7. Do this with each scoop, totaling to about 30 truffles, depending on size.
  8. Enjoy immediately or cover and refrigerate!
