The mix we created as a formula for all-year-round anti-viral and antioxidant support. Mainly people consider the Winter as the season when the immune system needs a boost. Not to forget is that during Summer and Autumn our immunity needs some recharging and enhancement. If all that works fine we are a lot less likely to get a cold or the flu during Winter. One great way to keep our immune system optimized is having a complex of medicinal mushroom extracts.
Mushrooms are medicinal purely because over millions of years they have developed compounds to protect themselves in the natural environment. The beneficial compounds are “locked” within the cellular walls of the mushrooms. The only way for us to get these actives is to perform some sort of extraction. Why? The mushroom cellular walls are mainly made of chitin, one of Earth’s strongest materials. Hence raw mushrooms are extremely rigid. People found over the millennia that when cooking mushrooms, certain health properties were occurring, not eat them raw.

Love this mix. Although I have used other mixes before I couldn’t find one that had turkey tail in it with my other chosen mushrooms so was pleased to find this and on offer so even better. I have not been taking this long enough to make an informed comment based on personal experience whether its better or different from other mixes but I bought this with confidence based on other reviews and certainly after having support from NF naturopath who was/is amazing. I will update this review when I have been taking this longer. The powder is more versatile than a capsule. it smells earthy and inviting when opened and in addition to taking a dose every day I have added it to mushroom soups, pates, coffees etc.

Hello Nutri-Fungi, I used Reishi and Chaga occasionally before but when I tried your products I felt much better. I was more focused and didn’t have this high blood pressure like before. I start reading about medicinal mushrooms and found out that there is a difference between powder ( which I use to buy) and extracts. Now I know why your products work!
