It is the active ingredients in mushrooms that make them functional food.
The main to keep focus at are the beta-D-glucans (important polysaccharides) and the triterpenes (found in some mushrooms). Watch out for products that use ratio on their labels as it is misleading description and gives no promise of content of mushroom active ingredients.
On our labels we always state the minimum amount of actual active ingredients, contained in the respective product. So you know what you actually get. That is transparency.
