INGREDIENTSHummus with Shiitake Extract

 

  • 1 tsp Shiitake extract
  • 1 tin of chickpeas
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tbsp of tahini
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • juice of half a lemon
  • pinch of salt and pepper
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp of sweet paprika

DIRECTIONS

  1. Put all the ingredients, except water in a food processor and mix until the desired consistency. I like mine quite creamy, so I blend for about a minute.
  2. Add water, to get a smooth paste. Add it gradually so it doesn’t get to runny, a tablespoon at a time.

I love eating it with carrot sticks or any other vegetables I have in my fridge or on rice cakes.
